14 YEAR OLD GIRL FOUND DEAD IN WOODS
Fourteen year old Amber Mercedes Baez was found dead in the middle of the woods in Newell on November, 2 2011. She had both her feet, and left hand mutilated, but her right hand was still in tact holding a knife. Detectives say that she might have done this to herself because her right is dominant, and she might have been having some depression earlier that day. "She's usually so happy all the time," says Veronica Baez(34 years), "maybe she let the bottled up depression get to her." Nobody know the real reason why she might of done this, but whatever it was, it must have been deathly cruel.
OBITUARY
Amber Mercedes Baez(2.11.97-11.2.11) was from Bronx, New York. With the parents of Veronica Baez, and Diocorides Baez, they raised her well with good advice, and discipline. Amber's mother nicknamed her Mercey because of her middle name. Her grandparents are old and wise, but really wierd and funny. So was her Aunts Chispi and Goldi, and her Uncle Papito. She had no nieces or nephews though. With her funny sence of humor, she made two of her closest friends, which were Haley Kaczmarek, and Hannah Joy Crawley and they understood almost everything about her. They know that she likes; art, drawing, writing poetry, purple, and monkeys. Her younger sibling, Daniel Baez(10.4.99), was one of the most annoying things one can encounter, however, he was also her best friend. Without him, she would have no one to make fun of, and tease in the most friendly way possible. Amber also shared some pets with him. Two kittens, Lilu and Lola, and two turtles, Drake and Diana. She was a freshman at Oak Glen Middle school, and kept her grades high with pride, however, she was unemployed. She did have some awards though, like a couple of Perfect Attendence certificate along with a Student of the Month reward all in different schools in her past. She had almost no disappointments in her happy life. With only one god to believe in and no religion, she was a very happy person with a great outlook on life. One might describe her as happy, motivated, and had good morals. Though her death was brutal, we will never forget the joyful life she tried to lead.
